Angel Food Cake

To make a chocolate version, add 4 tablespoons of cocoa to the flour mixture or fold in 1/2 cup miniature chocolate chips to the batter.

  1. Sift together (2-3 times) flour and powdered sugar. Set aside.
  2. Beat egg whites, cream tartar and salt until stiff. Fold in sugar, vanilla, and almond flavoring.
  3. Then fold in the flour mixture.
  4. Pour into cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
