A recipe from my cousin in Kentucky.
- To make filling: mix 1 cup sugar and 3 tablespoons flour in saucepan, add berries and enough water to top of berries. Mix well. Bring to a boil.
- Put in baking dish.
- To make crust: mix 2 cups flour and 1/4 cup shortening well, add 3/4 cup milk.
- Roll out and cut into strips. Add long ways on berries and then short ways.
- Put dabs of butter on top of crust and sprinkle with sugar. Bake until golden brown at 375 degrees.
