Creamed Dried Beef

Serve on hot toast or mashed potatoes.
Makes 6 servings.



  1. Shred slices of dried beef into small pieces.
  2. Melt butter in heavy pan and add dried beef. Cook until the edges begin to curl and beef is slightly browned.
  3. Sprinkle flour over beef and allow to brown slightly. Slowly add liquid and cook over low heat, stirring constantly.
  4. Cook until smooth and thickened.
