Serve on hot toast or mashed potatoes.
Makes 6 servings.
- Shred slices of dried beef into small pieces.
- Melt butter in heavy pan and add dried beef. Cook until the edges begin to curl and beef is slightly browned.
- Sprinkle flour over beef and allow to brown slightly. Slowly add liquid and cook over low heat, stirring constantly.
- Cook until smooth and thickened.
