French Breakfast

Makes 6 servings.
The original recipe does not include instructions for the milk, but it should be mixed in with the eggs.



  1. Beat eggs. Add salt and dry mustard.
  2. Layer bread, shredded cheese, and sausage in a casserole, pouring egg mixture over the top.
  3. Allow to set in the refrigerator several hours or overnight.
  4. Bake uncovered in a 325 degree oven 45 minutes to 1 hour, until top is puffy and brown. Allow to set 5 minutes before serving.
