For more flavor, reserve the pineapple juice and add it to the cake batter in place of the water.
- Prepare cake according to directions on package. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan.
- Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 15-20 minutes or until done. Cool in pan.
- Blend pudding mix with milk. Beat in cream cheese. Fold in whipped topping. Spread on cooled cake.
- Sprinkle with drained pineapple over pudding, then top with nuts, coconut and cherries. Refrigerate until ready to cut.
