Hot Fudge Cake

This recipe came from my husband's grandmother P. Jacobson.
Serve with ice cream or whipped topping.

Directions

  1. In a bowl, combine flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk, oil and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Spread in an ungreased 9 inch baking dish.
  3. Combine brown sugar and remaining cocoa, sprinkle over batter. Pour hot water over all, do not stir.
  4. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. Serve warm.
