Hot Fudge Pudding

Recipe was given to a Mrs. Williams and was typed on an index card.



  1. Sift dry ingredients together, stir in milk and shortening, mix until smooth.
  2. Add nuts, spread in 9 x 9 inch pan. Sprinkle with 1 cup brown sugar and 4 tablespoons cocoa, mixed together.
  3. Pour 1 1/2 cups hot water over entire batter. Do not stir.
  4. Bake 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
  5. Invert squares on plates, dip sauce from pan over each.
