  1. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks. Beat well.
  2. Add jam, spices, raisins and nuts. Beating well.
  3. Add soda to milk. Beat, then add flour and egg whites (well beaten).
  4. Bake at 350 degrees until well done. Makes 2 layers.
