Recipe from 1977.
Yields: 24 squares, 2 x 2 inches.
Note: Use fresh marshmallows for best results.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Cook over low heat 3 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
  4. Add Rice Krispies cereal. Stir until well coated.
  5. Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture evenly into buttered 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan.
  6. Cut into squares when cool.
