Miracle Whip Cake

Eggs were scarce during WWII and women used miracle whip in their cakes to make them moist.



  1. Cream sugar and Miracle Whip together.
  2. Sift flour, cocoa, and soda together.
  3. Add flour mixture, cold water, mixing after each. Add vanilla. Pour into two greased 8 x 8 inch pans.
  4. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until test done.
  5. Frost with chocolate icing.
