Sausage Gravy

Sausage gravy is a delicious old fashioned breakfast dish. Serve over hot biscuits.



  1. Place sausage in skillet. While frying break into small pieces. Cook until done. With slotted spoon remove meat and set aside.
  2. To the drippings, add the butter and melt. Add the flour and stir for a couple of minutes. Don't let it burn.
  3. Slowly add milk, stirring in until it's smooth. Add salt and pepper to your taste. Add the sausage and stir well.
  4. Simmer for a couple of minutes until it reaches a desired consistency. (If it gets too thick, add a little more milk.)
